COPIED FROM BBB: MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS:As explained to this customer multiple times, the dispute that they inaccurately opened with PayPal was closed and they should have received the refund from PayPal. They need to contact PayPal if they have not received their refund. Once a dispute is opened with PayPal, the funds are held from my side and taken from me once I close that out. Also, we do have the vulgar email that this lady has sent to numerous employees at this company. After a quick background check on this customer, we have been advised by our lawyers to simply not respond to her anymore. This customer has been reported and most likely needs to seek some type of help, something I hope she takes care of. I would prefer to have this customer shop elsewhere. YOU made the ERROR, not the customer?! How the heck can you come back, once I have the product IN HAND AND RAISE THE PRICE?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I've had to fight with these people via paypal etc FOR MY REFUND. They have LIED and told Paypal that I had been VULGAR to their employees (COMPLETE LIE. PAYPAL VERIFIED THE EMAILS AND NO VULGARITIES!) AND I had to fight with them to get CREDIT BACK FOR PRODUCT THEY NEVER SHIPPED! That partial shipment? Yea, they refused to give my credit for the product THEY NEVER SHIPPED until they received the incorrect PRICED ITEM WAS RECEIVED back. I'd also like to add that I noticed they have now increased their pricing on the windex by nearly 50%! I can only assume, they are trying to steal my $15.03 refund to make up for that loss!!!! (REALLY, ALL OF THIS OVER A $15.03 refund . SHOWS HOW PATHETIC THEY ARE) Also, one quick internet search of this company further proves, the whole switch and bait with pricing is typical for them! Apparently, shipping product THEN increasing the pricing is the norm for this company! WITH SO MANY REPUTABLE ONLINE BUSINESSES TO CHOOSE FROM, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!"

This results in higher cost in our shipping.This is a very poor service that GovGroup must correct. You cannot expect customers to pay without giving them full information on all your charges. “Customer was informed up front of all costs associated with shipping a $50 item internationally. Unfortunately we cannot ship items for free and simply charge what it costs to consolidate shipments at a central warehouse. This was explained numerous times to the customer and they still went forward with the purchase. If the shipping costs are too prohibitive for them to see any return on their end, I would suggest buying in bulk to reduce the per unit shipping cost in the long run. We just have no other means to ship a single 5 lb. box at a lower rate.”

Recently, I have had the chance to have a conversation with Andy, (who I later discovered was the CEO) and got a sense for the people behind the website. In this day and age, transacting business online is faceless and impersonal, which makes it difficult to establish trust and loyalty. What I have discovered is that these are honest guys, doing a great job to build a low cost, high service option for reducing their customer's expenses. This was my 4th purchase with GovGroup over the last 2 years or so. I am self employed and work from a technologically well-equipped home office. Being an independent, cost, quality and customer service and responsiveness are very important to me; therefore, I research every purchase to ensure that I am getting the best bang for my buck. GovGroup.com has impressed me every time, even when I had to return a product compromised during shipping (I had a new monitor shipped to me faster than I could return the damaged one). Literally, there were zero questions asked. My latest purchase was a high-quality home/office dual-band network router. When I determined the exact model number that I wanted, and got a sense of what they go for online, I was thrilled to discover that it was $5 cheaper than the best price I could find with such companies as NewEgg, Tiger Direct, eCost or MWave (I have used them all). No, $5 is not a lot, but it matters. My router was at my door in less than 24 hrs. Keep up the good work."
