"I had ordered a long beautiful frame online and Fedex had to send it back because it was damaged. I had to wait again for them to send me a new one. And come to find out, it was damaged again. This time I saw the wrapping and the broken glass, 3 sides of my frame was cracked off. The way they packaged it was terrible. I will never order from them again. I’m sad because they do have nice things. "
Truly awful shipping practices. Slow, inaccurate, frustrating- incompetent compared to other home decor/furnishings’ retailers
"I’ve ordered lots of items from Kirkland’s.And almost without fail, there are issues. Most “fragile” items are ship to store only, even though overstock, wayfair, Amazon, hobby lobby & others are all able to ship “fragile” items; Kirkland’s apparently is not.?!?.Ok- so I can live with driving to a store ro pick up items, except that it takes 3/4 weeks or more to get items. I’ve ordered mirrors, large pics, rugs, lamps, & shelving- ALL took almost a month & some took longer - to get to the store. Then it’s a truly unpleasant experience trying to get someone to find the items in the back.I’ve gone back to other stores after a year of trying to buy from Kirkland’s. Nice decor- too bad they cannot get their act together regarding shipping.They need to go intern with the other furniture & home decor chains to learn about shipping & ordering practices."
As bad as it gets.
"Ordered two lamps online and they arrived defective. Come to find out it's a know issue with the lamp. Kirklands is KNOWINGLY selling defective lamps! This is extremely irresponsible and potentially dangerous. "Customer service" is laughable. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!"
Ship to store an awful choice
"I ordered a mirror and was also expecting to get it within 10 business days. Instead, it’s been 3 weeks and still no mirror, not even an update on where my mirror was so I cancelled my order and shopped elsewhere. I will never shop Kirkland’s again. Ever. "
Ship to store takes too long!!!!
"I was very excited to learn that a Kirkland's would be opening literally 5 minutes from my home. Unfortunately, there are many items listed online that are not offered in store and cost to ship so I often choose Ship to Store or look elsewhere. Unfortunately, no matter how small the item it still takes anywehere from 10 to 14 days to receive items. My most recent order (an outdoor piece of wall art - blue lizard) has taken 10 days to process and finally just shipped. So it will probably take another 4 days before I can pick it up. While they have unusual items (although expensive - sales and coupons help) I often look elsewhere whenever possible as it is so inconvenient to buy online which is not the case for other retailers that offer free shipping. "
Military discount not given if you order online!
"They wouldn't give me my military discount and when I asked about my spin to win, she couldn't do that either. Now, I was really shocked that she couldn't go into my reward program with them and see I am military. Not so sure about them dismissing me that quickly when I was ready to make a purchase......."

"I ordered a glass lamp shade replacement last year to ship to store after a month I called the store and told me it had arrived 2 months later I called again and told me someone had already picked it up...point is , I never received it . I decided a year later to try again and order the same item but get it shipped to my house...the item came in the estimated date but came in tiny pieces like if someone had slammed the box multiple times on a wall and all it had for protection was a piece of bubble wrap when this was FULLY MADE OF GLASS "
Shipping promises untrue
"The website states that the order will come in 7-10 business days OR LESS. It’s been 14 ACTUAL days and my order hasn’t shipped yet. Had I not contacted the customer service first by email, then on the phone. If still be in limbo. That is if I actually do receive it at the end of THIS week like they said. "
Do not order online!
"I really like the Novi store and the women are very helpful so my rating is based on ‘shipped to store’ items. Ordered 2 lamps and one still has not arrived 6 weeks later. Didn’t like the one I brought home so returned but had to accept a store credit as the receipt they gave me when I picked up the lamp wasn’t good enough; he wanted to original email to confirm form of payment. "
Do not shop online or ship to store
"I wish I'd known beforehand that it would take 2-3 weeks to ship to store. I will not order from them again. This was an expensive lesson."
Worst customer service
"I emailed the company bc I had not received my item after two weeks. No response but it finally showed it was shipped to the store. Store said they didn't have it after each employee took turns telling another to go look for it. Asked for a refund and was told I have to call customer service bc the store couldn't do it. Called customer service and it said there was a wait and they would call me when it was my turn. Never called. I don't know how I will get my money back, I guess wait on the phone for hrs but I won't ship here any more. I like their products but there customer service is awful!!!"
Dont order online!
"I placed an order 11/28 ($400). It had to be shipped to the store. I called the store 12/10 to check the status of the order and was told the truck was canceled and would be sent again 12/15. As of 1/02, my items are not ready for pick up. I will never order from them again. "
Shipping was horrible
"I ordered a wood snowman from Kirkland's online. When it arrived the arms were off. There was absolutely zero packing material wrapped around the snowman. It was just thrown in a box. I was able to fix it with wood glue and a hammer but that's not the point. I shouldn't have to fix a gift. They need lessons on packing items. I wrote a review on their website but it was denied. Apparently I didn't follow the kiss **** review policy. I will never order anything online from them again. "
