"Ordered an e-gift card for Christmas...how simple is that? Roamans, part of FullBeauty Brands, couldn’t even deliver on that. Today, the day after Christmas, I receive an email telling me I needed to call them regarding my order. I called and the customer service rep said he needed to verify the billing address. What? This is an e-card and you’re just now telling me you need to verify the billing address? His response was this is all done manually and there’s no one there on Saturdays to do this process. Come on, right before Christmas? Yep that’s their policy. Never heard of such a thing in this day and age. You guys need to get in the 21st century! I said you didn’t hesitate taking the money out of my account immediately, yet you could bother to notify me immediately there would be a delay in delivery. I had to give him my CC information again and he said it would be processed and the recipient would receive an email notification in approximately 24 hours! You really have got to be kidding me. I repeated you didn’t hesitate taking my money immediately yet you’ll still take another 24 hours to send an email. Worst company and customer service ever! DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS!!!"

"I have had a horrible time with Roamans.com. My first order came and the shirts were not even remotely close to the color seen in the catalog. Sizing is way off. I ordered all the same size of shirts and one of them was like a tent on me. I sent my order back for replacement shirts and they wouldnt refund my shipping and cancelled my whole order. I was dumb enough to reorder shirts in different colors and sizes and that has 3 weeks ago and the order status has been at processed for shipment for 2 weeks. If you are in a hurry to get something don't order from this site. It will take you a month to actually get what you want. Very frustrated!"
Bait and Switch experts, poor quality bras, bad service, returns are lost
"The ad said that all Comfortview sandals were 60% off, so I wanted to buy a pair. But hold on, the pair I wanted was only 50% off the highest price, which was BS. When I called to ask why the sandal was not off by 60% discount, I was told that the specific pair I wanted was a shoe, not a sandal. Laughing. This is called Bait and Switch in the legal world. It is illegal. Another day: I am a 54C bra size, and I ordered a bra in my size, but the bra that arrived was three times the cup size of what I ordered. The label said 54C, but the cup covered me from underarm to navel. I returned the bra, and chose another one, but Roamans has lost my return, and now has charged me shipping for the bra they some day plan to mail out to me. Roamans? Just Don't Do It."
"I ordered from this company a couple times. On the orders where there were no issues, I didn't have any complaints. But, where it really counts in how a company performs, is when there is an issue with an order. The last two orders were a major SNAFU and will be my final orders.First, I was sent the wrong item. When I spoke with customer service they told me that my item was out of stock so they just arbitrarily decided to send a completely different item as a substitute. An email could have been sent indicating the item was no longer available or some communication in the package as to why I received a sweater when I ordered a blouse. Instead, I had to contact them to find out where my item was. I tried their on line email contact and that failed twice. So, I followed-up with a phone call which was when I was told what had happened. They said I would not be charged to return the item (that was not ordered) and would be credited. I returned another item and was charged full sales tax (again-original order had sales tax already) on the return and over $7.00 return fee on a blouse. So, something that cost me around $23, I got a little under $4.00 credit back. Also, when I wanted to reorder the blouse in another size, I was not allowed to use the discount credit used initially when I wanted to reorder.The final issue was when I had ordered an item in June and it was noted on the invoice packaging that the item would be shipped separately. That was fine. I can understand that happening. Then nothing regarding that item for almost 4 weeks. Then I just received an email stating the order was cancelled since Pay Pal only keeps it open for 29 days. Now, a professional company would have sent an inquiry to see if the customer still wanted the item that was ordered almost one month ago or at least apprise them of the automatic cancellation policy after 29 days. Instead, Roaman's just cancelled the order. The item was still available so another order could be placed to reorder it at the current full price but not at the sale price it was originally purchased at.As I said, the prices are good. As long as you don't need to return or exchange an item. Or, it is not placed on backorder and then cancelled--not due to being unavailable just due to a internal policy that the consumer was not made aware of. I have also never heard of another company that charges this high a return fee and sales tax when returned. Not even certain if that is legal. The term sales tax implies a sale was made. I was not aware of a return sales tax. I am now."
"This store specializes in plus-sized women's clothing. I would never shop there if I could wear regular sizes. My two biggest complaints about this shop is that they charge a lot for shipping and their website photos and descriptions are almost never accurate. The colors are way off, and the photos are doctored. I almost never receive items that look like the photos. If you need to shop at this store, find a 'free shipping and free returns' coupon. That way you can return all the disappointments that look nowhere like the photos without it costing you a dime. I rated this store 'very high priced' because their stuff is overpriced for what you get."
"I ORDERED A COAT FROM ROAMANS.I GOT IT AND IT WAS TO BIG.SO I SENT IT BACK FOR AN EXCHANGE.THE SECOND COAT THEY LET ME KNOW WAS BACK ORDERED FOR LIKE 4 MONTHS.BUT THANKFULLY I DIDNT HAVE TO WAIT THAT LONG.THE PROBLEM IS THEY CHARGED ME TWICE FOR THIS COAT AND I WAS SUPPOSE TO GET A REFUND.I NEVER GOT THE REFUND EVEN THOUGH THEY SAID I DID.MY BANK ACCT.SAYS DIFFERENT.SO IT CAME DOWN TO I WAS CHARGED TWICE FOR ONE COAT.SHIP AND HAND,INCLUDED.I DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE TO DO BUSINESS WITH.THEY ARE NOT A TRUST WORTHY CO.I TRIED TO GET MY MONEY BACK BUT THEY INSISTED I HAD GOTTEN A REFUND.I TOLD THEM MY BANK ACCT.SHOWED NO REFUNDS,ONLY THE 2 CHARGES FOR ONE COAT.I WONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.I TOOK THE LOSS CAUSE IT WASNT WORTH IT TO FIGHT THEM.BUT I LEARNED MY LESSON.IF A COMPANY CHARGES YOUR DEBIT CARD TWICE FOR THE SAME PRODUCT WHEN ONLY EXCHANGING THAN DONT REFUND YOUR MONEY I WONT DO BUSINESS WITH COMPANYS LIKE THIS.PLUS THEY SHOULDNT BE CHARGING ANY THING FOR EXCHANGES.I NEVER HAD THIS HAPPEN BEFORE WITH GOOD CO,S."
"Do Not Buy from Roaman's. This was my first time going through them. I placed an order on 01/02/15 and they told me that they couldn't ship it because it was on back order. I waited 19 days and found that the exact same shoe is on their website for sale. What??? I've been patiently waiting. I contacted them and they wouldn't process my order or give me a reason to why they hadn't processed it- in fact they took it upon themselves to cancel it without asking me. Then they told me to call in and reorder. That's makes no since. I agreed to buy from them the least they could do is process the order and ship it to me. Customer service seemed inadequate, not helpful, and treated me as though i was just a number. Not to mention, i waited 4-5 minutes for their first response to me. I have been pretty patient up to this point. It appears that they don't care if you order from them or not. Well...they've lost my money and future business, not to mention all credibility any referrals from me. I strongly recommend that you don't shop here!!!!"
"First and last time ordering from Roaman's. Half of my order will not ship for another 2.5 months. I have never heard of a company selling products that they don't have. When I ordered they were in stock and I keep getting emails moving the delivery date later and later. "
"I ordered a pair of boots from Roaman's over a year ago and wasn't pleased with the quality but decided to keep them and still wear them to this day. Even though they'e worn out on the heel part. Poor quality. That order doesn't even show up on my order history on the site in my account. Didn't learn my lesson the first time. Ordered another pair of cute boots last month on the 29th. Wasn't pleased with the fit or feel of them so I returned them. I tracked them everyday to make sure they received them. I had to call and ask about my return and my refund. They said they received them on the 10th of this month (Dec), even though a delivery is post on the 4th (Dec) in the return section of my account. They also said a refund should show up in my account the next day. It didn't. Refunds are supposed to be processed the same week they receive the returned item. I've given them a few days, but I will be calling again about my refund. I kinda hate this place. Customer service is okay, at best, I guess. Someone got to me quickly and I didn't wait long, but they weren't too friendly. I WILL NOT be dealing with this place again. I DO NOT recommend Roaman's."
"Ordered a robe costing #24.99, plus shipping/handling & tax, and next day delivery. Arrived and was absolutely huge for size listed. Next day shipping was $19.99 in addition to the $7.99 standard shipping and handling. Returned item. $7.50 shipping was deducted, and I was credited #19.30. So, I paid $37.51 and have nothing, zero, to show for it. Horrible return policy. Suggest you avoid it, or keep the item and make place mats out of it. This is absolutely ridiculous."
"Is is it me? Every once in a while I'll order something from Roamans and I get it sometimes on time and sometimes late. Looks real nice in the catolog. I try it on and its the worst quality. I just bought two pair of jeans the same size one fit and the other was waaaaaay too big. Same size! The ones that did fit the button fell off when I went to button them. No! they were not tight at all. The button fell off in my hand. That reminded me why I had stopped ordering from them years ago. Then I recently tried again odering two shirts. They were cute whith the shoulders out. When they came (late). I tried them on and the cutouts on the shoulders where lopsided. The opening shoulder hole was bigger on one side than the other side. My husband noticed it right away and he never notices anything. So that was another reminder. They have not gotten thier act together yet. PS.this was just two stories. I ordered years ago and I like a dummy thought I was just having bad luck. Now I know its Roaman's clothes. Worst quality. "
"I placed an order for a swimsuit on 02/19/12 knowing the item was backordered until 03/05/12. As that day came and went the status still showed "backordered" with no new ship date available but since I placed the order way ahead of when I needed it, this was acceptable. As time went by I called and was told it should be shipped "any day" now and that was still okay. Well, now it is showing 07/20/12??? Are you kidding me??? 5 months to get a swimsuit??? Seriously??? This WAS a gift for a vacation that I specifically ordered in plenty of time BEFORE the vacation only to find it's not even going to ship until AFTER the vacation is over. I have been a LOYAL customer for YEARS but NO MORE. I will no longer shop at your site or Woman Within or One Stop Plus or Jessica of London or any of your other stores. Why? Because this has happened too many times before. Either you backorder an item indefinitely or your cancel the item all together. And, I know why. It ONLY happens why I use a 50% off coupon. IF I paid full price, I'd have my order by now. I'm willing to bet that all the people who placed the same order at the same time but did NOT use a coupon they got their orders months ago. But, I used a coupon so I'm penalized!"
"BE CAREFUL when ordering from Roaman's, and NEVER send a gift to someone. I sent a gift to someone worth $128.95. The recipient decided to exchange a couple of the items, but the new items she was purchasing were much more expensive than the ones being returned. So 2 weeks later, I received another charge of $145.97 on my bank statement. When I called to dispute the charges, I was told that when I authorized the first oder to be sent to the recipient (which was clearly a gift, considering I requested a gift receipt and gift card to be sent as well), I was automatically authorizing her to charge any amount she desired to my card during the exchange. I was then hung up on by the customer service representative. So the recipient had a different name, none of my credit card numbers, or access to my Roaman's online account, yet she was able to charge any amount she pleased to my credit card. So unless their items are worth giving up the security of your bank account, I wouldn't buy from them."
"Many years ago, I was excited to find Roaman's online and enjoyed purchasing clothes from them. However, the last four years or so, the quality of their clothes has diminished so much that I can no longer buy from them. Their clothes fall apart right away. Zippers bend, pucker, catch, but always end up falling off within a couple months. Seams are often sloppy and come undone. The materials that they use are thin, pill easily, wear right through. The final straw was the pants that I had ordered and reordered. The seams in the pockets disintegrated on the first wash. The next pair I got to replace them had a crooked seam on the pocket so that it was only half sewn and there was a hole in it large enough for my keys and so forth to fall through, down my pant leg and onto my foot. It often feels like as a plus-size female, this is just what I have to deal with. Well, I don't. I would also like to point out that I have reviewed many of their products on their website and they delete any reviews that are too negative. Notice how all their products have high ratings? Now you know it is because all the ratings that they didn't like have been omitted. They also fight with you about paying return shipping when the error is theirs. Then they give in and say, "okay, we'll get you a gift certificate in that amount." I always say I just want it refunded to my card, and they reluctantly do so. I am so tired of this company, including their other storefronts like Kingsize men's clothes and so forth. They are all horrible quality and terrible service and deceptive reviews and corrupt return processes."
"I purchased three t-shirts from Roaman's March 27th. The neckline of one shirt disintegrated in the wash. When I took it out of the dryer half the neckline had come apart at the seams. So I contacted Roaman's on 6/22 and asked for a replacement as it was within the 90 day warranty period. It took multiple emails and each time I'm required to repeat the entire details on the issue. Finally one day Roaman's return mailer arrives and I ship the defective t-shirt back. Then they promptly drop off the face of the earth again. No contact, no replacement shirt and almost two more months go by. I email and multiple emails exchanged again they still don't know anything about my order, nothing has been shipped, and all the color options are now sold out. At this point I plan to chalk it up as a learning experience and I'm dropping the whole issue. My life is too short to deal with these crazy people. The clothing is cheap and nothing is worth the aggravation of dealing with this company."
