"Placed my groupons order on April 9, it's May 21st and no order received. Have sent several emails to slapgear.net, along with my order #. Not one response. Called, but no live person. Today, I spoke with Josh @Groupon who said slapgear informed them they 'lost' several orders and if Groupon resubmits them, they will send the product in 7-10 days...We'll see. If I don't receive them, Josh said I could call Groupon back for resolution. I would not trust slapgear, but Groupon seems to be trying hard to get them to fulfill their orders."
"I bought a Groupon for 2 watches and redeemed them on 3/10/2012, on 04/05/12, I sent them an e-mail and they told me there was a delay and they have rectified the problem and begun shipping,but up till now 04/25 I haven't gotten my watches yet. We placed the order February 11, received a shipment email March 20th, and finally received them in the mail today March 28th. Three days ago my daughter told me that her watch has stopped working. "Slapgear.net is a terrible business to deal with. Like other reviews said, I bought a couple of watches from them. They took the orders, took payments, sent email confirmation, then never processed the orders. I called them and only got voice mail. I left a message and they never returned my message to let me know what was going on with the orders. Later they sent email saying the orders have been shipped. I waited for 2 weeks but never received the products. After that, any attempt to contact them did not go anywhere. They just never shipped the products !!!"
"I purchased 2 groupons for SlapGear watches. I ordered the watches on January 31, 2012 and on Feb. 4, 2012 I received an email that said that my childrens watches have shipped. Well, when I hadn't received them on Feb. 21, 2012, I sent an email inquiring where they were. I was then informed that they didn't actually ship until Feb. 13, 2012. As of March 6, 2012 I still have not received the children's watches. I inquired about the adult watches that I ordered as well and was told that they had been out of stock and were to arrive in the warehouse for shipment on this week (March 2, 2012). I doubt that I will receive these watches either. I have asked for a refund from Groupon for the cost of the groupons since I have not received my product."
"I purchased a Groupon for two slap watches on January 14th. I received an email on February 4th that my watches had been shipped. It's now February 28th, and I still have no watches. I emailed them a week ago and they said that they were resubmitting my shipment information, but that there was no tracking number since it would be shipped via the Postal Service. When I responded to them to ask if they had an estimated shipping time, I got no response. I then called them and it went straight to voicemail. Each time I've called, it has gone straight to voicemail (even during their supposed hours of operation) and I have yet to receive a call back.I must say that I am VERY surprised that Groupon would do business with a company like SlapGear.net. After doing some research into the company to see if anyone else was having similar issues, I saw that less than one month before the Groupon launched, the Dallas BBB warned consumers not to do business with SlapGear's parent company and gave them a rating of F. There are a bunch of other red flags, too, that I should have paid attention to (e.g. only having one generic catch-all email on the contact page and registering the domain using domain privacy). So, let this be a warning to all out there that SlapGear sucks and even when you're dealing with a site like Groupon, caveat emptor."

"Same issue as everyone else. I purhcased a Groupon for this company. I recieved an email on 1/25 stating my order was shipped. It's 2/14 and I have yet to receive anything. I emailed firstname.lastname@example.org twice and have repeatidly tried to call. Some voicemail picks up, the person says to leave a message, then the system tells me "it cannot complete this call" and hangs up. This is awful customer service. Had I known this would be such a hassle I wouldnt have purchased the groupon. I am giving it until the end of the week before I call Groupon and complain. I dont even want the darn watches anymore. "

In the rare instances that they do respond, I was assured every time that "your order should be on its way". UGH! Stay away from them!!!"

"NON-OPERATIONAL PRODUCT, NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE !! I bought a Groupon for Slap-gear watches and ordered several to give as gifts. They arrived after a couple weeks, just in time for the holidays, but 3 of the 10 watches did not work. We replaced the batteries on our own dime, but one of the watches still did not work, even after replacing the battery. I have spent the last two weeks trying to get in touch with the company (emailed customer service, left phone messages) - not asking for refund, I just want a replacement watch face - but to no avail. They do not answer emails, they do not answer the phone, they do not return phone messages, and apparently they do not stand behind their product. STAY AWAY"

"I had purchased 4 coupons for watches at slapgear.net through kbdeals.com on October 11th. The fail to mention the following...++up to 11 business days to ship (I didn't receive mine until Dec 6th)++they were to send emails upon shipping, I never received any emails.++it too several days for communication and it was extremely vague both on shipping and when trying to understand approxmate age for the childrens watches. Because they were back ordered, one would think they would make the initial and/or follow up communication, that never happened. I would never ordered from them again. "
"I bought a couple vouchers from KGB Deals for 2 slap watches from SlapGear.net. Thought that it'd be a great deal, and good gifts. But it probably wasn't a good buy, because almost 2 months later, still no shipment!This probably isn't KGB's fault, but there should be some form of quality control and insurance system for customers to have faith in these deal sites. Maybe having some way for potential buyers to read other's reviews. As for slapgear, I couldn't find some place to write a review, thus I'm writing it here.So I made my order on 10/13/11, spoke to them after a few weeks of not hearing about any items shipped and having not received anything. When I email / called them (I did both, and it was tough to find someone to pickup or reply my emails) they said standard shipping takes 21 business days...WTH? they were only located in TX, I'm in NY how come so long? Whatevers, I waited more than 21 days, and nothing came, so I contacted them again. This time they said they had some problems with shipping logistics and will send a confirmation of shipment in a week. Well that week has come and gone, and haven't heard anything yet. I hope they haven't just scammed me, and hope this review makes them perform better, or at least be a warning to potential customers. It's been almost 2 months since my order (12/05/11).I'd suggest caution when purchasing from this company. Better yet, stay away."
