Great experience and fantastic support. Purchased Areca ARC-1261ML. Flickerdown gives you free support for these Areca cards. Came in handy because I was having issues with my card. Ed promptly walked me through the entire support process and got the RMA for me to return the card to Areca. Got a cross shipment and the new card works great. Would definitely buy from them again.

The Card Cooler


Ordered a stealth card cooler, a pci slot fan, and 3 stealth case fans. Received the order in a timely manner. The 3 case fans were the wrong ones so I emailed them. Received a response within an hour apologizing for the mistake and was sent out the correct fans without any hassle. They were prompt, courteous, and professional in responding to my emails. I would buy from them again. (USA)


Before this review even showed up I have received a reply and they are sending me another case free of charge. I don't really need it now but I'm sure I'll find a use for it in the future. This kind of customer service makes me feel really good about my continued shopping at newegg. Way to go guys and gals!
I have placed almost 40 orders with Newegg since 2001. I have generally been very happy with them.
I placed an order for components to build a new machine for my wife's grandmother on the 10th. Received the boxes on time and everything looked great from the outside. Then this weekend when I set about to build the computer I opened up the box for the case I ordered and it is completely unusable. The frame itself is bent and the side panels bent badly in the corners along with some bowing on the back panel.

Noticing that it would cost more for me to ship it back for exchange than the item cost me in the first place and that I needed to build the computer that day I went out to a computer store and had to buy another case for it. Luckily the power supply was/seems fine in the bad case so I was able to use it with the case I bought seperately.

I sent an email to newegg customer service on Saturday with pictures of the damage attached (totalling less than a couple of MB) and have yet to hear anything back. I have no intention of returning it but just wanted to express my situation and I'm sure Newegg will do something to make me feel good about my purchase.
